Are you ready for our little guide through EcoGreen Equestrian's amazing range of company collaborations? Great! Lets get started with the Safe-Care Equine Detangler (previously bought) and my new test product the Natural Equine's Top & Tail Serum.
One of my favourite things about this company is them saying ' We do not believe that people should have to pay more for products that are chemical free.' Eco Green Collaborate with companies who have the same beliefs as them, which is affordable and cost effective products that give happy horse, owners and even dogs!
This company CERTAINLY live up to what they preach, because the whooping 750ml of Detangler cost me just £9.99 which is the cheapest high quality mane and tail spray that really works, smells great and lasts months. I was blown away as most decent sprays are under 500ml and cost up to £15.00. When you have a thick friesian mane and tail to deal with like myself you need something that is going to last and works, it takes a lot of time to comb through it all and I have to use more than the thinner tailed horse owners. This product saves me money, time and leaves my horse looking and feeling fantastic, she is so beautiful and deserves the best product care.
All their safe-care products are plant based and use cotton-oil which is quick drying and non-sticky, this means dust isn't collected as soon as its sprayed. It doesn't leave the mane sticky, greasy or slippy; just smooth and silky!

I like to spray in and leave for a few moments before going in with my tangle teaser brush, you can find these in most hair shops! It doesn't have the bobbles on the ends of the teeth, so its less likely to rip hair out from the horse.
Tail wise I spray the ends first as that is the first place I will start to brush out and the area that needs the most product!

Now that the mane and tail have been brushed through with the detangler it is now time to apply the Serum, to be honest I was amazed at how it made my skin feel after using it. This product is seriously silky and it spread so easily over the mane and tail, I didn't need anymore than I put on my hands. -Rememeber, I have to use a little more than the average person as I have A LOT of mane and tail to get through. But when you think about it, I didn't really use that much!! On her tail I mainly only put it through the ends as that is the area I have the most difficulty with.
Give that a little brush through again after letting the mane and tail detangled settle in, see how beautifully and easily that brush slides through that thick tail? Man that is so satisfying!!!

Tada!! Certainly can see a difference in the tail, thickeness and a lot less scruffy. I don't really like trimming her too much and prefer to keep her as natural as I can! She only really gets a good tidy up when its show time, but Friesian showing is a little different to say showing a hunter! The Serum also made plating her a mane a lot easier, it held it together a lot nicer and felt a lot less faffy to deal with!
